AAA/CAA - Advertising Campaign
About this project
The American Automobile Association (AAA) has around 55.6 million members in the United States and Canada. Their research showed that their members have a very low awareness of their battery replacement service. In collaboration with the US marketing team, we developed a creative campaign called “The battery that drives to you”. The idea behind the creative was, to create awareness among AAA member’s about a mobile battery service that comes to you, instead of calling a towing service. Members were wasting time and money getting their car towed to a mechanic, to then replace their battery.
Solution
“The battery that drives to you” campaign included advert on the AAA website, Google advert, radio, consumer and trade press, social media, call centre banners, in-store signage and outdoor billboard. The campaign helped the AAA batteries achieve it's highest ever awareness figures and overall sales increased! The online advertising campaign significantly increased website traffic.
